GrCo Schools considering remote learning for all students

The Greene County Schools board of education will hold a special meeting Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 am at the administrative building. The only agenda item is consideration of a request to the Iowa Department of Education to implement temporary remote learning.

Per the Iowa Department of Education, school districts in which the average positivity rate in Covid-19 testing exceeds 15 percent can request to use remote learning rather than in-person instruction. According to coronavirus.iowa.gov, Greene County’s positivity rate is 18.4 percent.
